| Good provider but not so great w/ customer relations

I started leasing a dedicated server w/ them back December of 2005. At the time they were one of many dedicated server companies offering low priced servers in the 50-100 range.
With upgrades and addons I was paying 110.00/mo.
Early 2007 they imposed a 8.00 price increase. I was a bit upset considering other than electricity I was using no resources and they were making plenty of profit off me. However 8.00 is nothing and I could afford it.
Fast forward to May 2008 and again due to "cost increases" they impose another price increase. However, this time it's for 28.00 more per month.
Once again, I'm upset but I'm happy with the service so I stick with them, shelling out $146.00/mo for a very low end server.
Again fast forward to January 2010. Their billing system starts screwing up and double invoices me. Unfortunately, this happens for the next 4 months!
The last month, March 2010, their billing system manages to invoice me 8 times for one server!
Had I not been on top of watching them and expecting this, I would have been charged $1000.00 for one lousy 4 year old server...
they always apologies for the inconvenience but they apparently didn't care enough to fix the problem.
At that point I was fed up and left.
The network they have is great but customer relations is just poor. |
